The short version
We collect the details you give us (on the audit form or as a client), use them to prepare your work and run the business relationship, and never sell them. We never access your ad accounts. We also mine public sources (reviews, forums, public ads) for angle research; we explain how below.What we collect, and from where
- What you submit directly: your brand URL, a competitor, your email, and, if you become a client, your contact and billing details.
- A one-way hash of your IP address (never the raw IP) for abuse prevention.
- Basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site is used.
- For angle research, public data relevant to your product and market: public advertising, reviews, and forum or social posts. This can include the public opinions or usernames of people who posted them. We don't describe our internal research methods here, only what categories of data are involved and why, as set out below.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- Contract: the details you give us directly, to deliver the audit or the engagement you've asked for.
- Legitimate interest: the public reviews, forums, and ads we mine for angle research, balanced against the rights of the people who posted them, used only for that research, never for any other purpose, and never to identify or contact those people.
- Legitimate interest: securing the site, preventing abuse, and improving our service.
- Legal obligation: where we need to keep records for tax or accounting reasons.
Who we share it with
Only the processors that run our service, for example our hosting provider, our database provider, our email delivery provider, and the AI/generation providers we use to produce research and creative. Each handles data under their own terms and only to the extent needed to provide their part of the service. Where a processor is located outside the EEA, the transfer is covered by an appropriate safeguard such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else's advertising.
Retention
We keep audit-request data for as long as needed to respond and, if you engage us, for the life of the engagement plus the period our tax and contract obligations require. After that it is deleted or anonymized.Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; ours is the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
